Driving a Train through your Media Brain

An oldie but perennial goodie, this photoshop adbust came courtesy of my good friends at Wooster Collective. Oh, and I’ve never had any direct contact with said good friends. Those cads!

A fantastic street art compendium that serves up a parfait of the finest stencils, wheatpasting, flash mobbing and street installations from around the world. Recently, there’s been a movement towards posting videos instead of images (kind of like my blog, scoops), but every time I visit, I’m reminded and made content by the knowledge that there’s someone out there, being cool for me.

Quite simply: houses in Detroit that have been reclaimed by nature. Or claimed, if you claim that contractors and homeowners claimed them first. I suppose a proper recaliming would entail all natural building materials being sucked deep into the earth’s core.

Go ahead and look up that phrase. You know which one I’m talking about – those two words that are smarter than you. Don’t feel ashamed. I had to look them up too. Some words are just better than us. That’s why we look them up. And that’s when they become our servants. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeird joke!
